This is the fourth in a series of videos to explain what causes Focal Dystonia and how to successfully cure it.

In this video I talk about how early attachment difficulties effect your autonomic nervous system leaving it calibrated into an activated state.

I explain how one of the primary needs of a baby and young child is the attunement of their carer, which is usually their mother. Without this attunement the baby and young child feels in constant danger. In addition, at a young age we are unable to self-regulate our Autonomic Nervous System into wellbeing. We are only able to coregulate it through this attunement with our carer.

Therefore, without this attunement, the Autonomic Nervous System becomes calibrated into a constant survival state. This is one of the primary causes of Focal Dystonia.
